Hey Poly-ppl,
Don't know how many of you are on their mailing list, I haven't been checking my email and I just read this:
///NEWS////
We have a important announcement today. Polysics will have a show at Nippon Budokan on 14th March 2010. Nippon Budokan is one of the most biggest and famous concert hall in Japan. And Kayo, keyboardist will graduate from Polysics on the day. She determined to live her life as a woman not the musician. She says she spent really happy and quality time for about 10 years with Polysics.
But still she is Polysics member, she will keep doing her best as a Polysics member. Please come and see her last tour in US.
Finally, we are grateful to all the people who supported Kayo. Polysics will continue to pursue very Polysics thing. We wish your wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year!!

| ABSOLUTE POLYSICS now up for pre-order!!! |
[02 Jul 2009|04:04pm] |
Hey all,
Looks like the new Polysics album Absolute Polysics is available for pre-order! I only go though CDJapan, and they have it here. It seems a little more expensive than usual, but then again I always get the DVD versions, so what do I care, right? :D
Anyone have any other good places to order?
No album art yet, so hopefully we'll see that soon!

Hi! New to the community. I've been a POLYSICS fan since early 2007. I was pretty upset when they came to Orlando on MY BIRTHDAY that year and I was unable to go. Anyways, I did my almost monthly search for Polysics on Youtube today and found this and thought I'd share:
*squee!*
Actually, that guy posted underneath me...Zac Bentz...I'm pretty sure I discovered this band through his posts on Japanator

[26 Jun 2009|11:34am] |

Hey everyone! I just posted a little review of the new Polysics single Young OH! OH! up on my blog. Short version, the DVD version of the single is WELL worth your money! But then again, I probably don't need to try and convince anyone here to pick it up. :D

| Tour? |
[12 Jun 2009|08:54pm] |
Any word on an '09/'10 (EAST COAST) US tour? I missed their last... And regret it. :"( Last I saw them was in October of, oh God, 2005, maybe? They played in Wilkes Barre, PA @ Café Metro. BEST show I've ever been! (Even beats seeing No Doubt last night in Camden.)
Do they have a Twitter page or otherwise? I'm out of touch.
Thanks!

| Chicago Gig 11/09/08 |
[14 Nov 2008|08:33pm] |
Forgot to mention this here earlier, so:

I saw Polysics at their show in Chicago. My wife and I drove about 500 miles (1000 round-trip) from northern Minnesota to get there, but it was worth every mile and ever dollar. You can read the entire review here.
Some of you might have also seen it linked to from the No More Tears No Crying blog. Very very cool! You can also check out my review of their show in Milwaukee last year. I got all four of my Polysics edition Mister Monster figures signed. Super cool!
I have something extra special in the works for Otaku USA Magazine as well (I'm the music guy here,) but it's still a ways off, so stay tuned!
